I'm set to take the Amtrak out of Chicago on Thursday morning. If I were flying, I'd know the routine. My email from Amtrak says nothing but 'arrive 30 minutes in advance'.

I also know that I'm leaving from Union Station, but isn't that a huge building? Is it easy to navigate?

Does anyone have any tips they want to share?

Hi! Come April I'm going to be flying out of O'Hare on a trip and I was going to take the train from Carbondale, IL to Chicago to save myself the trouble of driving to Champaign to catch the LEX bus. Has anyone taken the #124 bus from Navy Pier to Ogilve on a Friday afternoon around the time that rush hour is getting underway (like, say 4:30?). The schedule says it takes about 25 minutes, but I am, shall we say, skeptical.

I'm looking at a job in Glenview, near Milwaukee and Central. I hate driving and don't really want to commute that far. Does anyone know anything about parking near the Metra stops at Grand & Cicero and/or Hansen Park?

This is kind of random but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I have only been in Union Station once and it was two years ago. However, I'm in the OTC every day. Is it possible to enter Union Station at an entrance closest to the Sears Tower (whichever one that might be) and come out at the entrance located on Madison near the CVS/OTC?

Just curious.
